Sam Shepard, OTR/L Hand Therapist
Sam grew up on the island of Maui, Hawai’i till his teenage years when his family moved to Silverton, Oregon. He also previously lived in Michigan and North Carolina during a previous career in college athletics administration.
Hand therapy was always a practice area of occupational therapy that intrigued him because of the level of complexity the upper extremity possesses. Continuous development of clinical knowledge and the motivation to help patients achieve their goals is what drove Sam to pursue a career in hand therapy.
During his free time, Sam enjoys playing golf, learning bass guitar and traveling with his wife.
