Setting the Foundation

Armworks Hand Therapy was founded by certified hand therapist Ryan Glover in March of 2006. His initial focus was to serve East Multnomah County, but that would soon expand with his growing patient needs. Ryan partnered with the well-established SportsCare Physical Therapy group, opening his first 2 clinics inside the Gresham and Northeast Portland (Gateway-Parkrose) clinics. Armworks continued to grow and by 2008 had opened it’s third location, this time in Clackamas. Armworks most recent expansions were on the Westside – Beaverton in 2012 and Lake Oswego in 2019. Armworks is proud to serve communities across the Portland metro area through their five convenient clinic locations.

Clinical Knowledge at its Best

Armworks Hand Therapy also prides itself on delivering the highest quality care for elbow, wrist and hand injuries by providing evidence based treatment methods by certified hand therapists. An Occupational or Physical Therapist can attain the hand therapy certification after being a therapist for 5 years, performing 4,000 hours of hand therapy, and passing a rigorous exam. We believe in hiring certified hand therapists because they have shown a dedication to the profession, advanced knowledge and extensive experience. When receiving therapy at Armworks, you can rest assured you’re in good hands (pun intended!).

Everyone is Welcome!

Armworks is special in that it is one of very few private practice hand therapy clinics in the greater Portland and SW Washington areas. Through our acceptance of most major insurances, we make it easy for you to be seen quickly by a certified professional who understands your injury. No more hospital waiting lines!
