Andy grew up in Michigan, just north of Detroit. As someone who enjoys rock climbing, he became interested in hand therapy while self-treating his own injuries and becoming enthralled with the anatomy of the hand. Along with treating the hand and upper extremity, Andy specializes in office ergonomics – identifying problematic mechanics, positioning, and equipment which can lead to musculoskeletal breakdowns. He is passionate about educating patients to understand how their body’s work so they can make smart choices and prevent pain from persisting or developing. Andy enjoys being outdoors, running, and spending time with his wife and two dogs.
