Amy grew up in the South Bay of Los Angeles. She became interested in hand therapy after coming to the realization that every meaningful activity involves using your hands and that they are the foundation to all occupations. Amy finds it rewarding to teach someone tools they can use to restore their function, and then get to watch them return to their favorite activities. Hand therapy allows Amy to use both science and creativity, two aspects of the profession she enjoys most. Amy enjoys the natural beauty of Oregon – the Gorge, the coast, the city and her bridges. She finds Portland as a fairly traded diamond in the rough with so much to love. If not in the office, you can find Amy exploring the Gorge or city, or enjoying a cup of coffee while reading books or the newspaper.
